Huntington Beach’s Two Golf Courses
Did you know that Huntington Beach has two golf courses? If you’re looking to learn how to golf or just going for a nice relaxing 18 holes, Meadowlark is a very nice place to start! Meadowlark opened in 1922 and once was right next door to the Meadowlark Airport that closed in 1989.
Excerpt from the Meadowlark website:
“Inspiring Golf in a pristine, natural environment. Meadowlark Golf Club’s beautiful par-70, 5,609-yard championship golf course was designed by noted golf course architect in the old style, leaving the terrain completely natural. Large stands of mature trees frame gently rolling Bermuda and Kikuyu fairways and manicured undulating greens, with a variety of picturesque water features, unique bunkering and indigenous flora and fauna creating both strategic diversity and a stunning backdrop for golf”
If you’re looking for more of a challenge, you will adore the SeaCliff Country Club, it has a gorgeous and very challenging course! Less than a mile from the ocean, you can golf and enjoy the ocean breeze.
Excerpt from the SeaCliff Country Club website:
